Writing clinics
Mastering Legal Research Essays
This one day workshop will help you explore the elements of effective academic legal writing, and understand the skill of writing legal research essays.
The writing clinics are informal workshops for graduate law students who are new to academic legal writing, or who wish to improve their legal essay writing skills. Practical tasks and model text are used to help participants improve the structure, coherence and clarity of their writing, and to demonstrate the principles of an effective legal academic writing style.
These clinics are open to all Melbourne Masters or Grad Dip students, and will be particularly helpful for international and ESL students.
