Extensions
- Extensions will not be permitted for take-home examinations.
- Examinations will not be deferred.
- If a student is ill during the examination period, the student must submit their exam on time then apply for special consideration based on documented medical grounds.
- Applications for an extension for research papers must be made on the Extension request form. This form is available from the Melbourne Law Masters Office or the student forms page. Once completed, the form may be returned by fax on 03 9347 9129, or scanned and emailed to law-masters@unimelb.edu.au. Alternatively, completed forms may be posted to the Results and Assessments Officer, Melbourne Law Masters, Level 6, Melbourne Law School, 185 Pelham Street, Carlton VIC 3010.
- Extension requests should be directed to the Melbourne Law Masters Office and not the lecturer.
- An extension on grounds other than medical grounds may attract a penalty of up to one grade.
