Professor Matthew Mitten

Matthew Mitten is director of the National Sports Law Institute and the LLM in Sports Law for foreign lawyers at Marquette University. Previously, he practised antitrust and intellectual property law with Kilpatrick Stockton LLP in Atlanta and taught at South Texas College of Law. A leading sports law scholar, he has written many articles and co-authored Sports Law and Regulation: Cases, Materials and Problems. He is a member of the Court of Arbitration for Sport, the Sports Lawyers Association’s board of directors and the International Advisory Board of Melbourne Law School’s graduate program in sports law.
