Objectives and Skills
The Graduate Diploma in Sports Law focuses on:
- The legal regimes, regulatory practices and current practical legal issues concerning Australian sport
- The international legal environment applicable to sport
- Special policy issues affecting the legal regulation of sport and the resolution of consequent problems from theoretical and practical perspectives.
Requirements
Students must complete four subjects from the prescribed list. Students who do not have a law degree from a common law jurisdiction or any prior legal studies or experience are also expected to complete the two-day preliminary subject Australian Legal Process and Legal Institutions.
