Why did you choose Melbourne Law School?
I chose to undertake a Melbourne Law Masters degree because it offered the intensive subjects. They are the most efficient and convenient way of studying for a masters degree while working.
Describe your career pathway - what is your current role and how did you get to where you are?
I am currently a Barrister at the Victorian Bar and work primarily in the areas of commercial and corporate law.
Describe your experience of studying in the Melbourne Law Masters. What have been the highlights so far?
My experience of studying a Melbourne Law Masters degree has been a pleasurable one. The highlight for me has been meeting a diversity of people, both students and lecturers, throughout the course.
What are you planning to do when you have completed your degree? Where do you think your degree will take you?
Studying the Masters degree has assisted me in keeping abreast of certain developments in the law and renewed my interest in other areas in which I have not practised.
What advice do you have for others considering undertaking a graduate degree in Law at Melbourne?
Those who are undertaking an undergraduate degree should "keep" their options open as you never know where the knowledge and experience gained throughout the degree will take you.
