Competition Law
The graduate program in competition law provides students with specialised expertise and skills in this interdisciplinary area of law. In its content and teaching staff, the program recognises the economic character of competition law and offers an applied focus on issues arising in practice. As well as providing students with a detailed understanding of the law regulating competition in Australia, current debates on competition law reform and international and comparative perspectives are incorporated into the program.

Competition Law Overview 2010
Competition Law Overview is a one-day seminar designed to provide a general understanding of the competition law regime set out in the Trade Practices Act 1974 (Cth), with particular emphasis on the provisions in Part IV of the Act.
The Overview builds on Melbourne Law School’s existing program in Competition Law, providing an introduction that is ideal for those considering undertaking a course or specialised subject, or simply seeking a basic grounding in competition law.
It is ideal for those considering enrolment in the Graduate Diploma in Competition Law or those whose practice incorporates competition issues. The overview may fulfil Continuing Professional Development (CPD) or Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements.
