The Melbourne Law Masters program is taught by the Law School's most experienced teaching faculty and includes leading scholars, practitioners and industry professionals with specialist expertise, as well as visiting international scholars and practitioners. In 2008, over 50 international faculty will be teaching in the program, including academics from institutions such as the University of Oxford, Yale University and the Université Panthéon-Sorbonne. International teachers from organisations such as the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund, the London Bar and the High Court of South Africa will also be teaching in 2008.

Wide range of subjects
Each year, the Law School offers more than 120 different subjects in the Melbourne Law Masters program and in 2008 we will offer 150. Subjects are chosen to provide students with a broad range of expertise and the curriculum is determined under the guidance of a network of advisory boards drawn from the judiciary, leading law firms, industry and the Bar.
Excellent facilities
Melbourne Law Masters classes are located in the purpose-built Law School overlooking historic University Square. An entire floor of the School is dedicated to graduate teaching and features modern IT facilities and a comfortable student lounge.
Superb law library
Spread over three levels, the Law Library has one of the best law collections in Australia. Subjects make full use of online electronic course materials offering students access to cases, legislation, articles and other secondary information sources. More than 100 computers are available. A feature of the Law Library is the Alan Katz Room, which is for graduate student use only.
Close to Melbourne city
Melbourne Law School is located on the city fringe, an easy 15-minute walk from the centre of the city or a short five-minute tram ride. Positioned right next to the inner-city suburb of Carlton, the campus is compact and beautifully landscaped with its 150-year history embodied in its architecture.
Small class sizes
By limiting class sizes to 25 to 30 students, we ensure that your learning experience is as positive as possible. Subjects are taught in a seminar style to encourage the active involvement of all students.
