Teaching period

In an intensive subject, all tuition takes place within a limited period, normally of five days. This means approximately five hours of classes per day.

Comprehensive reading materials are provided approximately four weeks prior to the commencement of an intensive class. It is expected that students undertake substantial readings prior to the intensive teaching. Teachers and students are likely to be in contact with each other electronically from the time reading materials are released to the time assessment is due.

Subjects 2008

Each year more than 120 subjects are offered within the Melbourne Law Masters. In 2008, we will offer over 150 subjects, providing an extensive subject choice across many specialist areas. Subjects are chosen to provide students with a broad range of expertise and the curriculum is determined under the guidance of a network of advisory boards drawn from the judiciary, leading law firms, industry and the Bar.
