Activities
Activities of the PLSA include:
- Informal lunchtime seminars in the Graduate Common Room at the Law School on a variety of subject areas
- A Welcoming Dinner at the commencement of each semester
- The organising of social functions from jazz nights to end of year excursions
- Forums for students to present their work.
- What's on in the PLSA?
The PLSA also represents postgraduate students on various Faculty Committees. The PLSA encourages students to become involved and make a difference within the University. Committee members of the Association can represent the interests of postgraduate law students and contribute to the development of the courses offered by Melbourne Law School. The experience gained as a member gives students insight into the workings of the University and enables members to contribute to the decisions that affect postgraduate law students.
